Yes, this was the first time I’ve ever seen Shane sober. I’ve seen him in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Los Angeles, Dublin, London and Liverpool and he’s always been completely anihalated. I went to a show in high school where he didn’t even show up.
Tonight I could understand what he was saying, he danced around and joked and in short put on a dream come true show. I haven’t seen the Pogues for a zillion years so, thank you, Shane, for putting on the best show I’ve ever seen you do.
The only bummer of the evening and it was a quasi-bummer is that you let someone else sing “Thousands Are Sailing.”

Well “Thousands Are Sailing” is written by Phillip Chevron. I don’t know the Pouges by sight but I assume that’s who sang it (http://www.pogues.com/PastPogues/PChevron/PChevron.html).
My “bummer” (as slight as yours) is that they didn’t play “Sit Down by the Fire”.
Thanks for the tickets losanjealous!
