(Very, Very, Very credible sources tell me that if you can get a camera inside you will have headline news Wednesday morning).

Hollywood Tipster:

God damn it. Count us in. We’re just going to go for a gamble that Brian Atene might be there. We are going to send a writer and a photographer. The best ones we have on staff. And a driver. We will be using an intern for the driver. Please see to it that the intern does not drink.

Question: Do you possibly have a sidekick or writing accoutrement that we can borrow? The writer’s PDA is on the fritz. Do you have anything we can use?

Also. Not a must. But if you have a camera we might be able to borrow as well. That wouldn’t be turned down per se. Please advise.

1) Brian Atene in the hizzy tomorrow night
2) You will have a PDA or laptop to ‘loan’ us
3) You have a high-quality SLR camera to ‘loan’ us
4) You will keep an eye on the intern driver and not allow him to ‘drink’

Change of plans. I will be covering this event personally. Possibly do you happen to have a digital voice recorder? In fact digital video might work best for all. Will Nicole Richie be on time? I wish to discuss her vote. I plan to vote the following ticket:

• Angelides
• Yes on 84
• No on 85
• Yes on 86
• Yes on 87
• No on 88
• Yes on 89
• For Chrissakes No on 90

Do you happen to know what direction Nicole’s ticket is swaying. Let us both hope, for God’s sake, she does not ‘vote’ on a few favorite cocktails prior to discussing serious fucking politics. At any rate. Let us hope the MoveOn voicemails will cease when the sun rises Wednesday. Don’t those fuckers know they’re preaching the choir.

Can you then confirm that you will have the following:

• Nicole Richie on-site
• Digital Camera with batteries and AC backup
• Avid system on-site
• Voiceover capabilities on-site
• Gaffer (for electrical work and logistics. Unpaid or not: completely your preference, however, be advised we cannot reimburse you for this gaffer.)
• Six 12-oz bottles Arrowhead® spring water

Addendum. I have a lighting man in the wings. Nothing serious. A few bulbs and shadow deflectors. It is the intern. I will personally see to it that this person will not be drinking during the course of the evening. However, should this plan fail, can you please also provide:

• A driver
