1986 Allamacani Jr. High Dance Re-enactment
Most of you probably have a lot that you would have changed about your last 8th grade dance. Here’s your chance. Festivities include the Arturo Arrevalo International Dance contest, a Hot Lips contest, a Zima Bong, Boones Farm bottle service, a 7 minutes in Heaven room, slow dancin’ without a buffer zone and lots of cheesy pick-up lines.

Dorkbake @ Machine Project
Thrill to the spirit of competition as dorks of all kinds demonstrate their mastery of engineering, aesthetics, and culinary science by attempting to bake delicious food using only the heat of a 100 watt light bulb! Final dorkbake begins promptly at 8pm. BYOB!

The Day The Music Died
As part of Doug Harvey’s exhibition Great Expectorations, HIGH ENERGY CONSTRUCTS presents an evening of serendipitous interplay featuring: Psychedelic Light Swirls by Sly Robby and the Karl Stone, experimental musical compositions by Mannlicher Carcano with Rick Potts and Steve Roden, and sound and performance by Dani Tull. ALSO, there will be a debut screening of the pilot episode of LESS ART VIDEO ZINE, a cable access movement created by Doug Harvey and Lee Lynch, featuring a live performance by recently disbanded indie icons DEAD MOON, a profile of 6-yr-old painting prodigy Marla Olmstead, a video by Brian Bress, and much more!

TUESDAY

A Date with John Waters
Celebrating the release and signing copies of his new CD “A Date with John Waters” and an early Valentine’s dance party! Be one of the first 200 people to purchase the CD on the day of the in-store (2/6) and you’ll be able to take a photo with Mr. Waters!! Valentine’s/prom attire is encouraged so rock the ruffles, sequins and look sharp for your date with John Waters!
