David Hockney: The East Yorkshire Landscape
New oil paintings by David Hockney. The subject of the paintings is the landscape of East Yorkshire, which first engaged Hockney’s imagination as a teenager when he worked on the land during summer holidays, stooking corn. Through Sat 3/17.

Ralph Nader @ Nuart Theater
Ralph Nader will attend the LA premiere of AN UNREASONABLE MAN, the new documentary of his life and remarkable career. Ralph will speak after the 4:55pm, 7:15 and 9:55 screenings – come meet this historic figure!

Bulldog Beauty Contest
More than 300 English Bulldogs are expected to travel to Long Beach for this annual event. The bulldogs will be evaluated (by reigning, real-life beauty queens) on personality, charm, face, figure, and first impression. Costumes and talent are optional.

Charity by Numbers
The exhibition features today’s most collectible and sought after artists who will transform classic hand-painted, vintage paint-by-numbers into modern masterpieces.

Drink and Draw @ Meltdown

L.A. Derby Dolls: Fight Crew vs Tough Cookies
Reigning champions Fight Crew will face off against the mischievous and wily Tough Cookies. Will the Fight Crew be able to fly below the radar and keep their winning streak alive? Or will the Tough Cookies spoil the party by snatching a win for their troop?

Love. Beauty. Desire.
Arts organization Create:Fixate takes on February, the month of romance, with its next themed event “Love. Beauty. Desire.” Besides the plethora of visual art from over 30 participants, each artist will create a unique piece expressing the evening’s theme.

MONA’s Neon Cruise
A special cruise to beat the winter blues. With music, live poetry by Mike-the-Poet and 3 thirst-quenching neon stops.
