Nice 2-for-1 value on this show. JV is the headliner, the stalwart songwriter with a big ol’ bag of tunes. St. Vincent (Annie Clark) is the opener, the hot newcomer on the scene. Well, new to this solo thing, that is–she’s 1/23rd of The Polyphonic Spree and has toured in Sufjan’s band. Afterwards, be sure to stop by Damiano’s and give us the subsequent scary moment(s).

In a rare appearance outside the Hotel Cafe, The Nightwatchman (Tom Morello acoustic) will be at the Troubadour on Saturday, July 21, 2007. Tickets on sale Thursday ($16).
Is losanjealous.craigslist frowned upon? If I was going to offer tickets at a discount I would much rather have them offered up here first. I was really stoked, but my girlfriend couldn’t go.
