Muse @ Verizon Amphitheatre (formerly Irvine Meadows), Sept 21. Try to win pit tix from KROQ:
It’s the final stop on KROQ’s Road Trip USA, Muse in Colorado. You’ll see ‘em at Red Rocks and then head to a dude ranch for a horseback ride with the band! Just be caller 20 at 800-520-1067 when we tell you to call, and you’ll score tickets to see Muse Sep. 21 at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre, and go into Friday morning’s drawing for the trip. Plus everyone who qualifies for a Road Trip this Summer on KROQ goes into the grand prize drawing for a 2007 Chevy HHR. Check out the Chevy HHR at SoCalChevy.com

Oh holy crap the Rapture show was awesome. It was a little bit on the short side–60 minutes including encore–but they hit all the high notes and didn’t include any of their momentum-killing songs. I’d go to tomorrow’s show too but I’m going to Maxïmo Park on Friday.

Just F y’all’s I, the info website for the Culver City Dub Collective show got hacked.

  20. Posted by Michael 7/26/07 at 11:29 am # Reply

The Rapture killed it. Even if it was for only an hour.

  21. Posted by shenny 7/26/07 at 2:40 pm # Reply

john, they play a few songs off their EP. They also break out into “I Just Threw Out the Love Of My Dreams” which is a very pleasant surprise.

Speaking of the Rentals, Tokyo Police Club closed out with “Friends of P” @ The Troubadour last night. :D
