Decemberists at the Wiltern 10/29
Decemberists at the Wiltern Nov 29
You meant, November 29 & 30, right?
Presale tickets are sold out for all shows in California, general sales are on September 8 at noon.
Props on the Joe Frank listings! Anyone have a reservation I can leetch on to? I hear they’re only gonna release 20-30 tix per night. I should have made a reservation when I got the email a month ago but didn’t think Largo would accept reservations of 1.
Yeah, I was going to do the Decemberists presale, but you have to buy both nights, and I don’t really want to go to the “Long of It” night and listen to 20 minutes of “The Tain.”
I called last Tuesday for Joe Frank and it was all sold out. Guess I am going to have stand at the bar. Which is ok with me, because the food isn’t really that great.
I went last fri night for aimmee mann and had a bar seat. theres still a 15 buck min on food/drink (same as table) good thing is the seats are elevated and you close to the guiness tap. try the honey chicken its by far the best thing on the menu.
Are you crazy, Cheryl? If I had my way, they’d do a third night called “The Really Long of It” and play just “The Tain” for two hours straight!
I’m with you about the honey chicken. It is the only decent thing on the menu.
Ha ha. Good thing Decemberists have two separate nights then.
Yeah, I don’t like Largo. The last time I went, I had to pay a lot for entry, food, drinks.
Man Man @ Troubadour, 10/23 (tix on sale starting Friday)
Manchester Orchestra, Annuals @ Troubadour, 11/15 (tix on sale now)

Pipettes
10-25 Los Angeles, CA – Avalon
Pipettes on the 25th? That’s the same day as Blonde Redhead! Jesus, why does everyone have to play LA in September and October, and on the same day? November-Coachella is going to be a graveyard.
Hey all!
Noah here from The Hollywood Bowl. Just want to give you the heads up there are still a lot of tickets left for the upcoming Arcade Fire/LCD Soundsystem show on Sept. 20th.
Click here for more info: http://www.hollywoodbowl.com/tix/performance_detail.cfm?id=3483
It’s going to be a great time and we hope you’ll join us!
October 23rd is the heaviest show date of all history…
Jesus and Mary Chain – Wiltern
Interpol and Liars – Forum
Black Mountain – Echo
Man Man – Troubadour
It’s just not fair…
No, September 21:
Air @ Greek
Cat Power @ Avalon
Mono @ El Rey
Muse @ Verizon Wireless
To lend some support to both sides of the argument, can I add these?
October 23: Tokyo Police Club/White Rabbits @ El Rey
September 21: Besnard Lakes @ Troubadour
It’s tough living in such a great music town…
Just saw on Joe Frank’s site that that two more shows are added to Largo – Oct 3 and Oct 10. I don’t think it’s announced at largo yet, but you can get tickets for those days I think. (I was at Joe’s show last week. it was pretty great)
