Nathan said that he tried to give a Santa Monica hobo some food and was denied cause the hobo was vegan.

Today a bum on a bus bench near USC was giving a bunch of 11-year-olds from the USC/32nd Street Magnet extremely detailed instructions on how to cross the street.
“DON’T HOLD DOWN THE BUTTON, GOD DAMN YOU!”
ok, that just made me laugh. i work on the promenade, and yes, i wouldn’t doubt that.
My… my name is Nathan.

As a photographer, I am pleased to know that you received permission from yourself to use said photo. Well done.
Actually I bet the hobo was a “freegan”…

Read the Patriot Act. In G.W. Bush’s America, any photograph used in any context, regardless of ownership or public domain status, must be attributed to the appropriate copyright owner, even if the owner and the user are the same individual. Penalties for failure to self-cite include extraordinary rendition, waterboarding, and/or watching endless tape loops of John Ashcroft performing Christian ditties a capella.
This has given rise to an extensive, and lucrative, body of work in the growing field of self-suing, where individuals come blazing at themselves with a full legal arsenal. I recently recovered a massive sum on behalf of my client for infringement by that same client. The client was both bankrupted and made rich in a single day, and I earned a handsome fee in the process.
