At one point Maya invited people to go on stage. Droves of fans came out of the woodwork, all rushing towards her while very few security guards interfered. After one song, M.I.A. asked them to leave so she could continue the show. Amazingly everything went smooth and the Vegoose crowd was pumped- luckily there were no crazy headlines to report the following day.
Daft Punk
Daft Punk was the last act Saturday night. All other bands ended sets before the Parisian duo hit the stage- it’s safe to say thousands of people were anticipating their last U.S. performance in the foreseeable future. They ended the night with an aptly named encore of “one more time.”
