Thursday at the Vista (4473 Sunset), Sigur Rós will perform a few songs acoustically. This will be followed by a screening of the new concert DVD “Heima,” which has been graced with rave reviews across the board.

There are two shows; early show at 8pm, late show at 11pm. Courtesy Beggars Banquet, we have a pair of tickets to give away to the late screening. Doors are at 1030pm; performance at 11pm, screening at 1130pm.

Please do not enter the contest if you cannot attend the show. I will need your full name; the winner will be contacted by 5pm Wednesday. As you may or may not have heard there are of course other methods to gain admittance to the late show, but they are rather involved. The terminally unlucky and terminally impatient can still pony up $25 for a ticket to the early show. I would expect both screenings to be ludicrously crowded; early arrival suggested. Good luck!
