[VOTE AGAIN]

Here we go–a few sandwiches to get this one started. We took some liberty and expanded the definition of sandwich to include things like gyros and brautwurst. Basically anything eaten with the hands that is a protein (or vegetable) between a bread that isn’t a taco. We’ll keep adding to the list. Feel free to stick your own picks in comments below and we’ll try to add them in the poll so you can vote them up. –Ed.

    Umami Burger. Hellman Burger.

Canter’s pastrami is pastrami at its absolute below-average. Seventy-five cents is fair-market value, frankly. Langer’s is better by orders of magnitude, my friend.

phillipe’s here and not cole’s (the “originator’s of the french dip”)? blasphemy.

I thought Phillipe’s was the true originator and Cole’s always the imitator. So, no blasphemy here.

I had to vote for Beacon after the big stink I caused. Although the best burger anywhere, the Kobe at Lucky Devil’s, is sadly absent from this list.
