Ahead of their May 24th El Rey show, the other much-buzzed-about Canadian indie band The Dears will be playing a free show at Hollywood and Highland on Thursday May 19 at 8 pm. 
This is part of a new “3rd Thursday of the Month” event H&H is using to drum up the paying foot traffic. They’re promising “live music, art and imported beers.” We here at losanjealous.com are proponents of all three of these individually, so this is like cubing the awesomeness.
If that wasn’t enough exposure for the Dears, then they play Kimmy Jimmel across the street the next night (NB: Bloc Party is Mr. Sarah Silverman’s guest on Monday).
And while you’re already out there on the boulevard, why not take a personality test and make a night of it?
