Looking for an offbeat place to take a date in Los Angeles? Take your date to the Tiki! Guys, take your girl! Girls…take your guy! Guys, take your guy! Girls…take your girl! And so forth.

There are so many reasons to go to the Tiki that it’s tough to determine where I should begin. You may have read on other sites about the potent rum-laced drinks…the easygoing smoking policy due to the business being family-owned…the laid-back eastside clientele and odd business hours.

I am here to tell you in no uncertain terms that the part about the fruity rum drinks is total bullshit. However what they lack in drinks, they make up in spades with naked ladies. I take all my first dates here now and it definitely sets the tone for the relationship.

The Tiki Theater doesn’t have drinks – that’s the Tiki Ti. They are family owned/operated, so you can smoke, the drinks are insanely strong, and if you order an el Toro.. well… just do that. It’s at Sunset and Hillhurst, across from the Circuit City.

The Tiki Theater is a small porn theater that plays straight porn but it frequented by working class Latins, Blacks, and the occasional Russian. I got a blowjob by a hooded 20-something Hispanic guy there last week. It was a good blowjob. Worth the $12 or so entrance fee.

Younknow i went to this So called Porn theater and It was Shit It Looked Like Something out of 8mm you know that Part where he is going to the under ground

Are you really completely mixing up the bar (Tiki)on Sunset, that does in fact allow smoking and does have rum drinks, with a dirtbag porn theater (Tiki) on Santa Monica? Is this a joke or do you need to do a little more research?

This is a really family friendly place. MI do not go here much, I am so busy with work. My wife takes our boys here every week to see the movies.

They have really cleaned up the place since my first time here. My dad brought me here from around age 12 through 19, every week. It used to be very scary but is is very clean, now.

I give it 5 stars, I would recommend this place to anyone.
