We Bulldozed It

Many readers have been writing in with concerns and fears, asking us if we are aware of the demolition — nay, razing — of Mo’ Better Meatty Meat Burgers, the long-closed, once-venerable shack-to-end-all-shacks at the corner of Pico and Fairfax. For months and months and months it looked like this. Suddenly without warning as of last weekend it now looks like this.
I wasn’t actually planning on making this common knowledge but the fact of the matter is that Victor bulldozed it for a new project we’re undertaking.
I really can’t say more than that.
At this time.
Rest assured, losanjealenos, that our top secret undertaking at this location will carry on the spirit and rich cholesterol content of MBMMB. Stay tuned for updates. Gotta get back to the job site–the taco truck just pulled up.
Sad it is gone, but didn’t think their burgers were as good as many say… just didn’t dig them that much.
Still, there are many many great burger joints left in LA. Hmmmm, burgers…
