Photo essay of BLLT‘s Saturday performance @ Roxy courtesy the delightful Audree. Featuring bubbles, wee audience members and stripey shirts, all set to a george michael faith cover, direct from the sunset strip. Is it just me, or does Audree have a hell of an eye for the live stuff. Check her site, yo.

Did you win a ticket from us? What’d you think of the show?

It’s not just you…..love Audree’s photos! Well done, Audree.
My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the show. Love the way the lead singer converted every song into an anthem: A ballad? Let’s pump up our right arm into the air! A sweet poppy love song? Hail, L-O-V-E! He even did a little march kind of move to complete the look.
It’s a 6 person band but really there are two guitarists on stage who don’t seem to do much so the full stage of people is focused on the singer and the lead guitarist who dazzled us all with a bit of banter. Why is banter better when it’s British? Because they use words like ‘rubbish’ and ‘bollocks,’ that’s why. Oh, there was a chick in the back who played, alternately, the violin, the keyboards and – in a shout out to second grade music classes everywhere – the recorder.
Delightful show.
