By now, you know the deal with our beloved local treasure Giant Drag. So you can pretty much imagine how their El Rey set opening for Pretty Grills Make Graves went. Some great songs were played, some bad jokes were told. Suffice to say, they did not embark on a jazz-funk odyssey this time. But let us not waste words and just enjoy a few pics of the radiant Annie Hardy. You can kind of see Micah Calabrese on drums/synth in the first one.

It’s true. I was going to post about how Indie 103.1 needs to stop playing GD’s cover of “Wicked Game” on 35x/week rotation, but with this visual, they could play it every hour and I’d be happy.
