(Looks like Rage is doing more then just Coachella)
Damn, I posted the Rage thing in the old concert listing! Well, Audioslave “broke up” a week or two ago so that’s good for Rage so they’ll be able to do more shows. For Coachella fans, I’m guessing (hoping) it will lower after market prices, but make Rage fans who overpaid for the Sunday show to feel duped.
This is an excerpt from Live Daily regarding the added shows taken from today’s L.A. Times article:
Last month, Rage Against the Machine signed on to headline the closing night of Coachella in Indio, CA, April 29. The reunion helped the festival to sell out 80 days in advance, according to the Los Angeles Times. Sources told the paper that the quick sellout and the ticket scalping that followed were among the factors in the band’s decision to add more shows, but the four gigs that have been announced are expected to be the only shows for RATM in 2007.
Good thing I didn’t buy my Coachella tickets for Sunday yet. I would have felt retarded paying $600.
Ooooo.. I will so go see Money Mark if I’m not working tomorrow!

Midlake was nothing short of amazing.
Oh, come on. They were something short of amazing. They sounded a little more like Coldplay than any band as good as they are should. “Roscoe” is a killer single, but they don’t have quite enough songs up to that standard.
[...] locally. Let’s just give the whole night “Pick of the Week” status (it’s happened before): Rilo Kiley’s at the Greek and Fink’s at the Troub. Still, you really should not sleep [...]
