that last photo is a keeper man. dying.
also - holy good lord that place is packed.
That dog’s got devil eyes!!!
How did you know the shot was staged? I told the dog, er.. prehistoric mountain goat, to look mean.
Your pics are way better than Pitchfork’s. One thing I noticed from both photosets is that the average age of the audience looks to be about 16. That there exist early adolescents who are awesome enough to listen to Deerhoof is a heartening development.
I saw Deerhoof four years ago, when they were a two-guitar quartet, in a room with shitty acoustics at one of Cornell’s student unions. This would’ve been a lot cooler.
Bonde do Role Cancel West Coast Dates
aw dang, i missed the show! from the looks of the crowd though, it looked too packed to be much fun. what’s with that crowd anyways? they all look so bored with their arms crossed and their blank expressions.

In Fargo, six or seven kids watch the Plan in a strip mall
Well I thought they were bored out of their skulls, but it turns out they were havin’ a ball
Yeah they’re doin’ the brand new step that everybody ISN’T moving to
Yeah they’re doin’ the Standing Still
