I was there. Good times for all. Carlie is really cool and friendly.
Hey, thanks Oscar! So were you! It was so odd seeing Karen O there. Maybe I will see you @ another upcoming show, eh?
I can *just* make out the snack bar in the sixth photo. My celphone shows there to be no fewer than three different men manning it this particular night, for those that are following the saga…
Maybe. Raveonettes is next on the list. I talked to Karen O for a bit, same with Nathaniel. Once the show started, Karen O was at the corner of the stage with the common people. I don’t think anyone recognized her or were cool about leaving her alone. Of course, she was one of the handful of people moving to the music from the start. Come on L.A., it’s cool to dance. Trust me!
This was my first of Electrelane. They were brilliant. Lots of energy. I would most certain go see them again. Reminded me of early Stereolab. Of course it’s ok to dance.
Saw Matt Groening too, with son in tow, at the 5/31 show. Holy SHIT was their lead guitarist going nearly full on Sonic-y Youth-y at one point. I will certainly see this band agains.
