City of Angels

Angels my ass man. This town is full of the lowest of the low.

But it does have its moments. And those moments, at their best, are second to none.
I would have it no other way. Have a great weekend.

What now?

Is that in front of the Wilshire/Alvarado Metro stop, catty corner from McArthur Park? I swear it looks just like it.

There are many easy ways to change what’s wrong with this picture. I counted 5 things – 3 reactive and 2 proactive – to do to make that picture reflect the City of Angels. Do you know what they might be?

To start off, I’d add a city trash receptacle to the stretch of street. That couldn’t hurt, right?

The litter problem in LA really needs to be taken care of. I sent the photo to Councilman Reyes and asked him to address it. I will see if I receive any response. We need to be proactive about litter.

Here’s an online form I like to use to report street maintenance. I think it works — I reported a massive amount of problems from a big section of the road near my home awhile ago and (it took some months), but they’ve repaved that road. Here’s a list of the services the Bureau handles.

What the who? Ryan, I remember that photo from a year ago. Have you any more recent photos of trash in the street? I expect more out of you, really now.

I think I see a smashed Clif bar in there somewhere.
