Your Supreme T-Shirted Kermit The Frog Unlicensed Spokesperson Scandal Update

By Ryan - Thursday March 06th 2008

Well, that didn’t take long:

kermie is not your goddam spokesperson

Five of these Kermies belong together
Five of these Kermies are dressed as one.
But one of these Kermies is calling it “Bullshit”
Can you help me spot-which-one?
And now my song is done.

Melrose at Fairfax this time. Again, modified. Fess up, which one of you guys called bullshit on Supreme’s laughable viral campaign? Don’t make me call LA Taco. Seriously, somebody go dig up the culprit on wooster and share for the greater good; things are busy this week.

Lazy readers, I finally looked it up myself. It took a whopping 0.19 seconds in the google machine. The wheatpaste posters may not be gaining fans anytime locally, but they are actually taken from a brand-sponsored photo exhibit in France:

    details here

    more

Still curious to know whether or not Henson knows about this.

whoever is putting those up is worst than those corporate bastards. They are covering all the street art and graffiti which is local to los angeles. Have some respect for the street culture in which you are so badly trying to imitate, I know we don’t need another hero, but guess what supreme? All of the peoples toes that you are stepping on, know where your shop is. I got three words.
    BRICK THROUGH WINDOW.

they’re going to need a lot more posters if they plan on covering all of the street art and graffiti in los angeles.
