Introducing: City National Grove of Anaheim

ANAHEIM, CA (January 24, 2011) – Nederlander Concerts, operator and programmer of the Grove of Anaheim, together with Front Row Marketing Services and City National Bank, announced today that the venue will be officially renamed to the City National Grove of Anaheim.

For more than 35 years, City National Bank has served Orange County’s entrepreneurs, business owners and professionals and is known for its personalized service and financial solutions. City National Bank is the largest commercial bank based in Southern California and the naming rights partnership will reflect the bank’s growing business in Orange County.

“This new partnership is a natural result of the strong and successful relationship Nederlander has cultivated over the years with City National Bank and the City of Anaheim,” said Alex Hodges, CEO of Nederlander Concerts. “City National’s presence in Orange County is stellar, and we are thrilled to expand our relationship into a naming rights partnership with one of our cache venues.”

“City National is committed to Orange County — so naming rights on a popular venue in the heart of Orange County is a logical step for City National based on our growing business and presence here,” said Kevin Dunigan, regional executive for City National Bank. “This is a great way to grow our brand in Orange County.”

“The Grove is an important part of Anaheim’s cultural landscape,” said Anaheim Mayor Tom Tait. “I am pleased that this new partnership with City National Bank will garner greater attention to this venue. We look forward to many more years of offering Anaheim residents and visitors a wide variety of entertainment events.”

Since 2002, Nederlander Concerts has exclusively managed, operated and booked a variety of events including live concerts, comedy, community, corporate and private events, plus was the first promoter to bring Broadway touring productions to the intimate venue. The venue has played host to world renowned entertainers including, BB King, Julio Iglesias, Boz Scaggs, Merle Haggard, George Lopez, Jamie Foxx and Seal, plus the hottest up and coming acts such as Something Corporate, Cobra Starship/30H!3 and Tiger Army, among others.
