Notes From The Inbox: Shirtless Anti-War Rallies Planned in Los Angeles Thursday (1/11)
By Ryan - Wednesday January 10th 2007
Dear MoveNow member,
Tonight the president is expected to announce a policy of escalation in Iraq. We have to stop it, and the 24 hours after his speech are going to be critical in framing the debate. Congress and the press need to know that there’s widespread shirtless opposition to this reckless plan.
MoveNow members have already organized hundreds of Emergency Shirtless Rallies to Stop Escalation in Iraq for tomorrow night. We really need to have a strong turnout at these rallies so the message is heard loud and clear: We have our shirts off. Can you attend a rally near you in Los Angeles tomorrow with a painted message on your chest?

As everyone at Losanj HQ will attest, I am generally shirtless from the hours of 9-5. Hence my protest tomorrow will take the radical form of wearing a shirt while in the office.
“Stop escalation in Iraq?” You actually think a bunch of smelly hippies, shirtless, holding up traffic is going to make Bush change his mind? Or make any friends at all with people who WORK and are just trying to get home??? These hippy scum need to get a life.

Please make sure you spellcheck anything you write on your body. Thank you.
I’m going to go to school pantsless tomorrow.
I went to school pantless too and Bush is reconsidering the intervention in Iraq! Yay for me!
