Dodger Caravan Today–Meet Fernando Valenzuela, Matt Kemp, some others at Roscoe’s, Culver City Best Buy and/or Olvera Street

The Los Angeles Dodgers will embark on their annual Dodgers Community Caravan presented by USC University Hospital on Monday, February 1 – Wednesday, February 3. The Caravan will kick-off with a stop at USC University Hospital with visits from Dodger Legends and broadcast personalities. On Tuesday and Wednesday the Caravan’s first visit each day will be the two hospitals that are partners in the ThinkCure! effort, City of Hope and Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 3

Confirmed Dodgers: Matt Kemp, James McDonald, Ramon Troncoso and Fernando Valenzuela. More names to be added.

Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, Los Angeles, 10:00 a.m – NOON (Closed to the Public)

Roscoe’s, House of Chicken and Waffles, 5006 West Pico Blvd. (near La Brea)- 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Dodger players and Legends will enjoy a great lunch at Roscoe’s and afterwards say hi to customers. Dress in your favorite Dodger gear and enjoy lunch with your favorite Dodgers! This event is NOT an autograph signing event. (OPEN TO CUSTOMERS)

Best Buy, Westfield Culver City Mall, 6000 Sepulveda blvd. Ste. 1240, Culver City – 3:00 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.

Dodger players and Legends will be on hand to challenge you to some of the hottest video game action today. Some Dodgers will also be signing autographs and taking photos with customers. Only limited number of customers will have the chance to play video games. We will cap it at about 5 minutes max per person. (OPEN TO THE PUBLIC)

2010 Dodgers Rally at Olvera Street, East Cesar E Chavez Avenue & Olvera Street, Los Angeles – 5:00 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.

Featured Dodgers will be split into two autograph lines. Autographs available to the first 150 fans in each line. You are not guaranteed an autograph from all featured Dodgers. (OPEN TO THE PUBLIC)

As a reminder, please do not interrupt the Dodgers while they are chowing on chicken and waffles. You will have your chance to say hi to them after they finish their chicken and waffles.
