Nice to see Mardi Gras headwear representation. Was it this guy? Attended a concert with him once, if so (we didn’t arrive together)
That guy… tough way to make a living. I guess I’ve just always assumed that he’s the owner’s brain-damaged brother/cousin (a la Dominick & Eugene).
Either way that campaign has gone on WAY too long and he is super annoying.
I don’t really blame the guy. It’s Westside Rentals that has centered their entire marketing scheme around him — going so far as to provide him with a Hummer topped with a makeshift boxing ring in which for him to dance.
That said, I got my apartment through Westside Rentals.
He’s really odd, definitely on SOMETHING, but..what? I worked at Hear Music on the Promenade for about 3 years, he’d come in several times a week (at least once a month with a date) to make mix cds. Our closing time never changed, but somehow he was shocked when 12:30′d roll around each time. C’mon, it’s midnight, we’re TIRED..but no, not him! Still going, like the cranky energizer bunny. Oddling, yup. I always wondered how he got his dates..
I think it’s hilarious how you call this guy a jackass. Have you ever met him? He’s a very nice man.
OK, not HIM personally, but the WSR man CHARACTER he plays clearly displays classic jackass behavior (CJB syndrome, DSM IV). Pretty sure we can all agree on that.
