Little Bene Bene Spotted En Route to Feast

The Bene Bene Mini-Truck of Fairfax Village was spotted on Highland at 712pm yesterday presumably en route to the Feast of San Gennaro. We asked the truck for a few brief words and he returned the following:
“Realmente non ho tempo per questo ora, figlio della capra. Sono in ritardo come merda!

Sadly but true we were busy trying to make a sweet 16 party and we were unable to attend the festivities that night in Hollywood. We served 60 or so HUNGRY teenagers somewhere near the Magic Castle and I must say Bene held up really well that night. Even though he is a tad older for the competitive ice cream industry here in Los Angeles, the old man still has some punches to throw.
Wondering how I know Bene so well (on a first name basis at that)? I am Enrique, bene’s driver, part time.
We had the Bene truck come to our work! It wasnt at all what it looked like on the website but the gelato was excellent! The gelato wasnt ready, said the driver…so he had to keep the truck running… which in turn spewed out so much exhaust that i got a headache. the truck had only a freezer inside and there was barely enough room for a hunched over driver/server. and the driver/server was nothing like the handsome gents on the website. False Advertinsing i say!

LinDy, glad that you liked the Gelato. Both Kevin and I worked hard to maintain the Quality.
Sorry that the truck caused a headache. He is a pre-smog vehicle and needs a lot of attention to keep in top running shape. I promise the next we will not need to run the truck.
Also, can’t say much that I didn’t match the gents on the website. Still, I do my best and what can I say about personal taste. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
