The Deimos show more than likely is the Mars Volta. No Haggar in the house April 3rd.

  2. Posted by Zeta Acosta 3/12/07 at 10:12 am # Reply

that show IS the mars volta, GSL has it up on it’s tour dates.

  3. Posted by shenny 3/12/07 at 10:53 am # Reply

The Shins @ Orpheum Theatre, April 15. Tix on sale Saturday.

  4. Posted by Oscar 3/12/07 at 11:36 am # Reply

It’s on the GSL MySpace tour dates, not on the site that I could find. I guess Mars Volta fans would rather catch the show at The Orpheum than the Troubadour because tickets are still available for the show. I would have figured it would have sold out already, but that’s what I thought about the Crystal Castles/Presets show this Saturday…

  5. Posted by Zeta Acosta 3/12/07 at 12:08 pm # Reply

i thought the same thing, but its supposed to be a secret show and i guess the secret part is still in effect. word should get out soon, because the orpheum show sold out within minutes. people just don’t know about it, and the people that do know are not spreading the word. i got my tickets right when they went on sale on thursday, we’ll see how long it takes to sell out.

    Ventura?! Stockton?!! Riverside?!!!

Moz is playing for the true fans right where they live. Brilliant. I only wish Downey could have had a show. These shows will be big events for the kids stuck out in the sticks (said with love). I may have to cover the Riverside gig to revisit my own personal history.

  16. Posted by Oscar 3/13/07 at 12:40 pm # Reply

Yeah, Morrissey wanted to play in the San Fernando Valley to cover all his big fan base centers but Tia Chucha’s Cafe, Big Jim’s Restaurant & the Poly High School Gym couldn’t book him.
